Dr. Brown said he is honored to receive the Governor’s endorsement and remains focused on serving the residents of Prince George’s County.

“I am deeply grateful to Governor Wes Moore for his support and confidence,” said Brown. “Governor Moore has challenged all of us to lead through service, accountability, and results. Those same values have guided my military service, my work in state government, and my commitment to the people of Prince George’s County. If elected Register of Wills, I will work every day to make the office more accessible, responsive, and compassionate for the families we serve.”

The Register of Wills office plays a critical role in assisting families through probate administration, estate matters, guardianship proceedings, and other sensitive legal processes. Brown’s campaign has focused on increasing public education about estate planning, improving accessibility to services, and ensuring residents receive clear, respectful guidance during difficult life transitions.

“Families often interact with the Register of Wills office during some of the most challenging moments of their lives,” Brown added. “They deserve an office that is responsive, professional, and centered on service. My goal is to ensure every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and care.”

Brown currently serves as Administrative Director for the Maryland Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, where he supports the African Affairs Commission and the Middle Eastern American Commission. He has also served in numerous community leadership roles throughout Prince George’s County and has built his campaign around the principles of accessibility, transparency, and putting people first.
